Res. 2215 EXHIBIT "A" UP-82-2 L. That this use permit is granted only for the approximately 1870 sq. ft. portion of the building located at 4301 Valley Avenue, formerly occupied by the Sports Den. 2. That the applicant shall provide additional lighting in the parkicug area of the subject property as determined necessary by the Police Department. This lighting shall be installed at the applicant's expense and shall b'e for the purpose of allowing proper surveillance of the subject property by the Polic Department. 3. That at least one adult supervisor shall be on duty on the premises at all times. After 6:OOpm there shall be at least two adult supervisors on duty the premises on Fridays, Saturdays and preholidays or as required Eby the Planning Director. 4. That if determined necessary by the Chief of Police, the applicant shall employ a security guard to patrol the parking area of the subject property order to discourage loitering. 5. That this use permit is granted for a period of five (5) years from March 10,11982. 6. That the applicant shall install bicycle racks in at least two parking space adjacent to the entrance to the game room. The layout of the bike rack area be subject to approval by the Planning Division. All bikes shall be stored these racks at all times. The hours of operation of the game room shall be as follows: Monday through Thursday 10:00am to 10:00pm, Friday and Saturday 10:00am to Midnight; and Sunday 12:00 Noon to 10:00pm. Adjustments to the hours of operation will require approval of the Director of Planning and Coimmunity Development. 8. That the applicant be aware that the use of the premises as a gameroom will change the occupancy type of the building from B2 to A3, necessitating at least two exit doors, panic hardware on all doors, signs, etc. and,that the applicant should consult with the City Fire Marshal for further information apd requirements.
