PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON - COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2218 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-82-16, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone an approximately 78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential District or to any other district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September 21 1982 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-82-16; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated`September 14, 1982 and received the. recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, at the duly noticed public hearing of September 21, 1982 the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning change; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the rezoning and recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of the rezoning of the subject property. Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-82-16, the application of the City of Pleasanton as described above.
