PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2221 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMLQENDING APPROVAL <br />OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR <br />THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-82-19 <br />WHEREAS, Pacific Telephone has applied for development plan <br />approval of a "field operating center" consisting of <br />three structures totalling approximately 13,600 sq. <br />ft. and related facilities on an approximately 5.5 <br />acre site located just south of 7200 Johnson Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (.Planned Unit Development) <br />General Industrial District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 21, 1982 at <br />which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting the Planning Commission received the <br />_ proposed negative declaration for case PUD-82-19; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated September 14, 1982 and received <br />the recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of the negative <br />declaration and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the rezoning and recommended <br />adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this <br />development plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there <br />will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment <br />as a result of development plan approval for the <br />subject property. <br />Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared <br />for case PUD-82-19, application of Pacific Telephone <br />as described herein. <br />
