PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2221 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMLQENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-82-19 WHEREAS, Pacific Telephone has applied for development plan approval of a "field operating center" consisting of three structures totalling approximately 13,600 sq. ft. and related facilities on an approximately 5.5 acre site located just south of 7200 Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (.Planned Unit Development) General Industrial District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 21, 1982 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, at their meeting the Planning Commission received the _ proposed negative declaration for case PUD-82-19; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 14, 1982 and received the recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of the negative declaration and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the rezoning and recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this development plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of development plan approval for the subject property. Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for case PUD-82-19, application of Pacific Telephone as described herein.
