PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANT ON <br />COUNTY OF ALAD4EDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2228 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br />OF AMERICA ON BEHALF OF UNITED GROCERS AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-9D <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company has applied for <br />development plan approval of a 42,600 sq. ft. building <br />and related facilities on an approximately 5.0 <br />acre site located on the south side of West Las <br />Positas Blvd., immediately west of Tassajara Creek; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Industrial/Commercial and Offices <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />development plan of the subject site (PUD-81-30) including <br />the typical architectural and site designs for <br />individual lots, and there are no changed circumstances <br />or new information requiring additional environmeni=ai <br />review; therefore, this application does not constitute <br />a new project under CEQA and no new environmental <br />document accompany this application; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 13, 1982 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony <br />and related exhibits relevant to this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed Planned <br />Unit Development development plan for the 5.0 acre <br />site located on the south side of West Las Positas <br />Blvd., immediately west of Tassajara Creek is in <br />conformance with the zoning of the property (PUD-81-30) and <br />General Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COD~IMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of case PUD-81-30-9D as described <br />above, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />
