PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2233 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR TRACT 5093 <br />WHEREAS, Howard Hansen, A. Mix and Ponderosa Homes have applied <br />for tentative map approval for a proposed 62 lot <br />subdivision of approximately 164 acres of land to <br />include 59 single-family lots located at the western <br />terminus of Hansen Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family <br />Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of October 13, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed mitigated negative <br />declaration for Tract 5093; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed <br />the Initial Study prepared and received the recommendation <br />of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on October 13, 1982 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposed subdivision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of negative declarations and <br />environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />there would be potentailly significant impacts upon the <br />environment by approving the proposed subdivision and <br />Negative Declaration for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon <br />the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that <br />there might be significant adverse effects on the <br />environment as a result of approval of the proposed <br />residential subdivision but that conditions imposed <br />on project approval would reduce any significant effect to <br />an insignificant level. <br />
