PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2242 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR REZONING AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE RZ-82-17 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone two portions <br />of two parcels of land located at the northwest corner of <br />Johnson Drive and Hopyard Road in the following manner: <br />6,395 sq. ft. of a portion of Pleasanton Business Park <br />located immediately westerly of the site occupied by the <br />Hungry Hunter Restaurant from PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices to the C-F (.Commercial <br />Freeway) District; and <br />10,146 sq. ft. of a portion of Pleasanton Business Park <br />located immediately north and west of the site occupied by <br />Denny's Restaurant from PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District to the C-F <br />(Commercial Freeway) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of November 10, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />case RZ-82-17; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study prepared and received the recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 10, 1982 and <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed rezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of engative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated there <br />would not be any potentially significant negative impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the proposed rezoning and Negative <br />Declaration for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of <br />the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented <br />at the public hearing that there would not be any <br />significant adverse effects on the environment as a result of <br />a royal of the proposed rezoning. <br />PP <br />
