PLANNING COMMISSION <br />-. CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2252 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE GP-82-10 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to change the General Plan designation <br />of the approximately 200 foot wide strip located on the west side of <br />Vineyard/Pico Avenue between the Vineyard/Pico Tawny intersection and <br />the Arroyo del Valle from "Open Space - Parks and Recreation" to <br />"Medium Density Residential" and to change the designation of the <br />approximately 3/4 acre parcel located immediately west of the <br />Vineyard Villa Mobile Home Park from "Open Space - Parks and <br />Recreation" to "High Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study <br />dated December 30, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 12, 1983 at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed general plan amendment; and <br />`-' WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with state and local guidelines governing the preparation of <br />negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />would not be any significant adverse impacts on the environment by <br />approving this general plan amendment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case <br />GP-82-10 as described herein. <br />Section 2. Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial <br />Study, and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the <br />public hearing that there would not be any significant adverse impacts <br />on the environment as a result of approval of the proposed General Plan <br />amendment. <br />Ser_tion 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage <br />and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE <br />12th DAY OF JANUARY 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Chairperson Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Wilson <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
