PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2256 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR W. B. SKINNER <br />ET AL AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-82-23 <br />WHEREAS, W. B. Skinner et al has applied for a conditional use permit <br />to allow the establishment and operation of a construction and <br />building trades business on an approximately 1.05 acre site <br />located at 1236 Quarry Lane in the Valley Business Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Industrial <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at the time of planned unit development approval on the subject <br />property an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was adopted which <br />envisioned uses of this type within the Valley Business Park. <br />This project, therefore, comes under the scope of that EIR and <br />no further environmental documentation is required at this time; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 12, 1983 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony and relevant <br />documents as well as the Staff's recommendation concerning this <br />application; and <br />- WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location of the <br />conditional use is in accord with the objectives of the Zoning <br />Ordinance and the purposes of the district in which the site <br />is located; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed location of the conditional use and the conditions <br />under which it would be operated or maintained will not be <br />detrimental to the public health, safety or welfare, or be <br />materially injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, that the proposed conditional use will comply with each of the <br />applicable provisions of the Ordinance Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the application of W. B. Skinner et al for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the establishment and operation of <br />a construction and building trades business on an approximately <br />1.05 acre site located at 1236 Quarry Lane in the Valley Business <br />Park subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That this use permit is granted solely for the 1.052 acre <br />site known as Lot 36 of Valley Business Park. <br />2. That the applicants be aware that architectural and site <br />review will be required prior to any construction taking <br />place on the subject property. <br />3. That the applicants be aware that they are subject to all <br />conditions of approval of Ordinances No. 924 and 928 (approving <br />cases PUD-79-13 and PUD-80-1), attached hereto and made part <br />of this case by reference. <br />
