-, ; / <br />i-'/ <br />i- <br />DRAFT <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE N0. <br />EXHtBtT A <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATED TO AMUSEMENT DEVICES AND <br />GAME ARCADES AMENDING SECTION 2-5.20, ARTICLE 2, <br />(Definitions) AND SECTION 2-7.80 (Permitted and <br />Conditional Uses), ARTICLE 8 ('C' Commercial <br />Districts), CHAPTER 2 (Zoning), TITLE II (Zoning <br />and Development) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Section 2-5.20, Article 2 (Definitions), Chapter 2 <br />(Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the <br />Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended <br />to add the definition of "Game Arcade" as subsection . <br />d., relettering the remaining subsections, as follows: <br />d. Game Arcade. Any business which provides for <br />public use four (4) or more commercial amusement <br />devices as defined by Section 4-4.22a, Article II, <br />Chapter 2, Title IV of this Code or any business <br />with fewer such devices where their operation is <br />the primary business function. <br />Section 2. Section 2-7.80a (Permitted and Conditional Uses), <br />Article 8 ('C' Commercial Districts), Chapter (Zoning), <br />Title II (Zoning and Development) is amended to modify <br />wording and to indicate that "Game Arcades" are con- <br />ditional uses in certain zoning districts. <br />CR* CR** CN CC CS CF CA <br />Game arcades as defined <br />by Section 2-5.20d. of <br />this Chapter. C C C C <br />*Uses which are part of a completely enclosed mall <br />complex, all activities take place entirely indoors. <br />**Uses on peripheral sites physically separated from a <br />central enclosed mall. <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br />days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper <br />of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton. <br />
