PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2264 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR AMADOR <br />VALLEY INVESTORS FILED UNDER CASE GP-82-12 <br />WHEREAS, Amador Valley Investors has applied to change the General Plan <br />land use designation of approximately 23 acres of land <br />located adjacent and to the north of the Arroyo Mocho Canal <br />approximately 1500 feet east of the existing terminus of <br />West Las Positas Boulevard from the General and Limited <br />Industrial designation to the Medium Density Residential <br />designation; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 26, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendation of the City staff concerning <br />the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental <br />impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with state and local guidelines governing the <br />preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact <br />reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that <br />there would not be any significant impact on the environment <br />as a result of approval of this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, public <br />testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there would be no significant adverse impacts upon the <br />environment as a result of project approval. <br />Section 2. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for case GP-82-12 <br />as described herein. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON <br />THE 26TH DAY OF JANUARY 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />~~ ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: January 26, 1983 <br />
