PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2271 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR CASE PUD-83-1, APPLICATION OF DUNCAN MATTESON AND <br />JOHN FERRERI <br />WHEREAS, Duncan Matteson and John Ferreri, have applied for PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential <br />zoning and development plan approval for a 154 unit <br />multi-family residential project on approximately 8.8 <br />acres of land located at 4323 and 4365 Valley Avenue <br />(approximately 500 feet west of the intersection of <br />Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road); and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is "A" (Agricultural) and <br />R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 23, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City staff concerning <br />the proposed general plan amendment including the environmental <br />_ impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negativ e declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that-there would not be any significant impact on the <br />environment as a result of approval of this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the <br />public hearing that there would be no significant adverse <br />impacts upon the environment as a result of project approval. <br />Section 2. Approves the Negative Declaration prepared for PUD-83-1 <br />as described herein. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />~ PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ON THE 23RD DAY OF FEBRUARY 1983 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:. <br />
