PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2289 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR THE MODIFICATION TO CASE <br />PUD-79-13, VALLEY BUSINESS PARK <br />WHEREAS, Valley Business Associates and Sente Associates Seven <br />have applied for a major modification to case PUD-79-13 <br />pertaining to building heights, size of trucks, permitted <br />truck routes and other possible changes to the zoning and <br />development plan for "Valley Business Park" an approximately <br />70 acre industrial park now under construction on the south <br />side of Valley Avenue immediately east of the residences <br />on the east side of Kolln Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Develoginent) <br />Industrial District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 13, 1983 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant maps and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning the proposed modifications including the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be a significant impact on the environment <br />relating to noise but conditions imposed upon modification <br />approval would reduce those impacts to an insignificant <br />level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, <br />public testimony and documentary evidence presented at the <br />public hearing that there could be a significant adverse <br />impact upon the environment as a result of approving the <br />modifications requested to Ordinance 924 but that conditions <br />imposed on the approval would reduce those impacts to an <br />insignificant level. <br />Section 2. Approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for <br />the modification to case PUD-79-13 (Ordinance No. 924). <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
