PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2292 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR EARL AND BARBARA ADAMS AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />UP-83-6 <br />WHEREAS, Earl and Barbara Adams have applied for conditional use <br />permit approval to operate a 2350 sq. ft. restaurant at <br />3657 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 13, 1983 <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />pertinent exhibits and recommendations of City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission. found that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />of the zoning ordinance and the purposes of the district <br />in which the site is located; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use and the conditions under which it <br />would be operated or maintained will not be detrimental <br />to the public health, safety or welfare or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also found that the proposed <br />conditional use will comply with each of the applicable <br />provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves case UP-63-6, application of Earl and Barbara <br />Adams for a conditional use permit to operate a 2350 sq. <br />ft. restaurant at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road subject to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That the use permit is granted for an approximately <br />2350 sq, ft. restaurant to be located in the building <br />at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road. <br />2. That the restaurant shall contain a maximum o£ 70 seats. <br />3. That parking meeting all code requirements for the <br />~- entire parcel located at 3.657-75 Old Santa Rita Road <br />shall be provided prior to occupancy of the restaurant. <br />4. That prior to occupancy of the restaurant, a comprehensive <br />sign program be approved by the Planning staff for the <br />entire building at 3657 Old Santa Rita Road and that <br />all signs be made to conform to said sign program. <br />
