PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2100 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING A MORATORIUM BE <br />PLACED ON DEVELOPf~tENT APPLICATIONS <br />[VHEREAS, many residential, commercial, industrial and office <br />proposals have recently been considered by the Planning <br />Commission and the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, prior to approving or recommending approval of any <br />more residential, commercial, industrial or office <br />developments within the City, the Planning Commission <br />feels studies are needed to determine the amount of <br />sewer capacity required to serve such developments; and <br />WHEREAS, residential projects are being submitted to the City for <br />review and approval for Low/Moderate Income levels; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has not yet determined the <br />quantity of such development needed nor the area in which <br />such development is needed and what sewer capacity will <br />be required. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />hereby requests the City Council place a moratorium on <br />development applications for those projects not yet having <br />their sewer permits until such time as available sewer <br />capacity is known, how many affordable units are needed <br />within the City, where such units should be placed, <br />percentage of affordable housing to be exempt from R.A.P. <br />and other requirements; and how much sewer capacity <br />should be afforded other residential, commercial, <br />industrial and office developments. <br />Section 2.
