_ PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2109 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF DAON CORPORATION AND STONESON DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORATION AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-22 <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 16, 1981 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration on the <br />application of Daon Corporation and Stoneson Development <br />Corporation to rezone from the PUD-High DensityResidential <br />District to the Planned Unit Development-Commercial, Office, High <br />Density Residential and Open Space District (including a 5 acre <br />park) and for development plan approval for an office, commercial, <br />residential development containing approximately 1,430,000 sq, ft. <br />of office/commercial structures, a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi- <br />family dwelling units on the 91.5 acre site in the area hounded <br />by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road and Highway 580 and 680; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial <br />Study dated November 3, 1981 and received the recommendations of <br />the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public <br />was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts <br />of the proposed development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in <br />accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and <br />environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there <br />may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions <br />of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for <br />Planned Unit Development-Commercial, Office, High Density <br />Residential and Open Space District (including a 5 acre park) <br />zoning and for development plan approval for an office, commercial, <br />residential development containing approximately 1,430,000 sq. ft. <br />of office/commercial structures, a 300 unit hotel and 347 multi- <br />family dwelling units on the 91.5 acre site in the area bounded <br />by Stoneridge Drive, Stoneridge Mall Road and Highway 580 and 680 <br />subject to the mitigating conditions set forth in Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 2110 attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br />
