PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2142 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A REZONING <br />REQUEST AS FILED BY DEVCON DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC. <br />UNDER CASE RZ-82-1. <br />WHEREAS, the Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland and Devcon Development, <br />Inc. have applied to rezone an approximately 3.9 acre parcel <br />of land located on the east side of Santa Rita Road approxi- <br />mately 250 ft. north of its intersection with the tracks <br />of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company from the <br />"A" (Agricultural) to the I-P (Industrial Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 10, 1982 <br />at which time the public was afforded the opportunity to <br />comment on the application to change the rezoning as well <br />as to comment on the negative declaration of the subject <br />application; and <br />WHEREAS, at this duly noticed public hearing the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of a mitigated negative declaration for <br />this project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Finds that I-P (Industrial Park) zoning will be in <br />conformance with the General Plan under the recommendation <br />made in Planning Commission Resolution No. 2141, attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. Recommends the 3.9 acre parcel of land located on the east <br />side of Santa Rita Road approximately 250 ft. north of its <br />intersection with the tracks of the Southern Pacific Trans- <br />portation Company be rezoned from the "A" (Agricultural) <br />to the I-P (Industrial Park) District subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of February 1982 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: February 10, 1982 <br />/// <br />
