PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2146 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE. PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-79-17, PONDEROSA <br />HOMES <br />WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes and Pleasanton Development Group have <br />applied to rezone two parcels of land totalling <br />approximately 9.8 acres located at the northwest corner <br />of Paseo Santa Cruz and Valley Avenue from the RM-15 <br />(Multi-family Residential) District to the R-1-6500 <br />(Single-family Residential District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of March 10, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration <br />for case RZ-79-17; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated March. 1, 1982 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 10, 1982 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning <br />change; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the rezoning and adopted <br />the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on <br />the environment as a result of the rezoning of the <br />subject property. <br />
