PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2146 A RESOLUTION OF THE. PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-79-17, PONDEROSA HOMES WHEREAS, Ponderosa Homes and Pleasanton Development Group have applied to rezone two parcels of land totalling approximately 9.8 acres located at the northwest corner of Paseo Santa Cruz and Valley Avenue from the RM-15 (Multi-family Residential) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential District; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of March 10, 1982 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-79-17; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March. 1, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 10, 1982 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning change; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the rezoning and adopted the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of the rezoning of the subject property.
