PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2148 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF TIIE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR <br />ED RETHERS AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-82-1 <br />WHEREAS, Robert Geremia (.property owner) and Ed Rethers <br />have applied for a conditional use permit to operate <br />an automobile painting facility at 3830 Old Santa <br />Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (.Commercial Service) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 10, <br />1982 at which time public testimony and pertinent <br />documents were received and considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission continued the matter to their <br />meeting of March 10, 1982 to determine from the <br />property owner, Robert Geremia, his intentions with <br />regard to the future development of the entire parcel <br />located at 3830 Old Santa Rita Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the property owner submitted a letter indicating that <br />within the next three to five years he intends to <br />completely redevelop the entire 2.31 acre parcel with <br />either offices or a warehouse facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use is in accord with the objectives <br />of Chapter II, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the <br />City of Pleasanton and the purposes of the district in <br />which the site is located; and <br />WHEREAS, that the proposed location of the conditional use and the <br />conditions under which it would be operated or maintained <br />will not be detrimental to the public health, safety <br />or welfare or be materially injurious to properties <br />or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />WIIEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the proposed conditional <br />use will comply with each of the applicable conditions of <br />this Chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Ed Rethers and Robert <br />._ Geremia as filed under case UP-82-1 subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br />
