._ PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2150 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COA4MISSICN OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR <br />BRAD HIRST AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-82-2 <br />WHEREAS, Brad iiirst has applied for a conditional use permit <br />to operate an electronic gameroom approximately 1877 <br />sq. ft. in size with thirty-five games, more or less, <br />at 4301 Valley Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P.U.D. (Planned Unit <br />Development) Commercial District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 10, 1982 <br />at which time public testimony and pertinent documents <br />were received and considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the negative declaration prepared for case UP-82-2 was <br />approved by the Planning Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed <br />location o£ the conditional use is in accord with. the <br />objectives of Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton and the purposes of the district <br />in which the site is located; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed location <br />of the conditional use and conditions under which it would <br />be operated and maintained will not be detrimental to <br />the public health, safety or welfare or be materially <br />injurious to properties or improvements in the vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed conditional <br />use will comply with each of the applicable provisions of <br />this chapter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Brad Hirst filed under <br />case UP-82-2 subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
