PLANNING COMMISSION <br />_ CITY OF PLEASANT ON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2151 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL <br />OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CA5E <br />RZ-82-4 APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone <br />approximately 230 acres of land at the southern <br />terminus of Pico Avenue, Concord Street and <br />Bordeaux Street to the P.U.D. (Planned Unit <br />Development) Low Density Residential/Open Space <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of March 10, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration <br />for case RZ-82-4; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed <br />the Initial Study dated March 1, 1982 and received <br />the recommendation of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 10, 1982 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning <br />change; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the rezoning and recemmnded adoption of <br />the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMPISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there will <br />be no significant adverse impacts on the environment <br />as a result of the rezoning of the subject property. <br />
