PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2155 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-82-1, <br />REYNOLDS AND BROWN <br />WHEREAS, Reynolds and Brown have applied for P.U.D. (Planned Unit <br />Development) development plan approval of a second phase <br />of development for the 56 acres of land located at the <br />southwest corner of Hopyard Road and I-580 in the <br />vicinity of Bannister and Owens Drives. The proposed <br />development plan proposes fourteen individual office <br />and research and development buildings on the sites <br />ranging from 1.2 to 7.2 acres in size with structures <br />proposed up to five stories in height; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) <br />Industrial/Commercial and Offices District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 31, 1962 <br />_ at which time the public was afforded an opportunity to <br />comment on the Initial Study as well as the development <br />plans for the subject property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study and received the recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at the public hearing of March 31, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission reviewed the potential impacts in accordance <br />with the applicable state and local guidelines governing <br />the preparation of negative declarations and environmental <br />impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would be significant impacts upon the environ- <br />ment by approval of case PUD-62-1 but that conditions <br />imposed on its approval would reduce those adverse <br />impacts to insignificant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that any adverse significant effects on the environment <br />~~~ <br />
