CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-62 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A DESIGN REVIEW <br /> BOARD OF DESIGN PROFESSIONATS IN AN <br /> ADVISORY CAPACITY ONLY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 7 1989, Council reviewed <br /> the report of the Director of Planning and <br /> Community Development (SR 89:60) regarding <br /> establishment of a Design Review Board consisting <br /> of design professionals and setting forth various <br /> options; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Council adopts in concept an Architectural/Site <br /> Review Board. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Directs staff to develop the particulars of this <br /> Board and to return the matter to Council for final <br /> approval. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Directs that the Board be made up of three design <br /> professionals, with one alternate, said Board to be <br /> advisory to the Planning Commission/City Council <br /> and said Board to review all building design plans, <br /> but not land uses. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 7, 1989 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br />/~ames R.'Walker, tity Clerk <br /> By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> Michael H.
