PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2158 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-82-8 <br />APPLICATION OF E. J. PARISH ORGANIZATION ET AL <br />WHEREAS, Richard and Ursula Ultsch and Theodore Bates have applied <br />for pre zoning and development plan approval for an approxi- <br />mately 247 dwelling unit project on an approximately 29 <br />acre site located on the north side of Vineyard Avenue <br />opposite Sauterne Way. The property is currently prezoned <br />P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) Medium Density <br />Residential District with certain conditions governing <br />its development. The Planning Commission may recommend <br />approval of the new prezoning and the proposed development <br />plan or make any other recommendations regarding the <br />subject property consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated March 23, 1982 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 31, 1982 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />zoning change and development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the~Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by approving the rezoning. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the negative declaration for <br />case PUD-82-8, application of the E. J. Parish Organization. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review <br />of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there will <br />be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a <br />result of the rezoning of the subject property. <br />/// <br />
