PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2164 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASTLEWOOD <br />PROPERTIES, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-82-5 <br />WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties, Inc., Kamp, Kral and Crouch <br />have applied for an amendment to the General Plan <br />to change approximately sixteen acres of land at <br />the northeast corner of Oakland and Mohr Avenues <br />from the Medium Density Residential land use desig- <br />nation to the Hiqh Density Residential designation; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of April 14, 1982 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration <br />for case GP-82-5; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study and received the recommendation of the <br />staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 14, <br />1982 'and the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />zoning change; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of nega- <br />tive declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there would not be any significant impacts upon <br />the environment by recommending approval of the <br />general plan amendment and recommended adoption of <br />the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there will be no significant adverse impacts on <br />the environment as a result of the general plan land <br />use change of the subject property. <br />/// <br />
