PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ,- COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2168 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-82-5, HOWARD WASSERTEIL WHEREAS, Howard Wasserteil and Henry Cupples have applied for development plan approval of an approximately 14,000 sq. ft. building addition and related facilities at the Schoeber's Raquetball and Health Club located at 5341 Hopyard Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (.Planned Unit Development) Commercial and Offices District; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of April 28, 1982 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for case PUD-82-5; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study prepared for case PUD-82-5 and received the recommendation of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on April 28, 1982 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning change; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the development plan and Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of the development plan approval of the subject property. Section 2. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for case PUD-82-5, application of Howard Wasserteil et al as described above.
