PLANNING COMMISSION <br />- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2175 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF <br />CASE RZ-82-8 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone approximately <br />13 acres of land located on the south side of Bernal <br />Avenue extension between the tracks of the Western <br />Pacific Railroad Company and the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company from the "O" (Office) and "I-P" <br />(Industrial Park) District and to prezone approximately <br />16 acres adjacent and to the south for a total of <br />approximately 29 acres to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - High Density Residential District or to <br />any other zoning district consistent with the General <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the General Plan designation on the property described above <br />was recently changed from Public and Institutional <br />to High Density Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of this action, the Planning Commission on <br />March 31, 1982 initiated a rezoning and prezoning on the <br />property in order to bring the zoning into conformance <br />with the new General Plan land use designation; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was approved for the <br />General Plan change on the subject property; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of P4ay 26, 1982 the <br />Planning Commission considered all public testimony and <br />related documents concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential zoning is in <br />conformance with the General Plan land use designation <br />of High Density Residential. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends the. property described above be zoned and <br />prezoned to PUD (Planned Unit Development-High. Density <br />Residential) District. <br />
