CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-60 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE FINAL <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FORT HE <br /> DOWNTOWN PT~ASANTON SPECIFIC PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in July, 1988, a Draft Environmental Impact Report <br /> (DEIR) was prepared on the Downtown Pleasanton <br /> Redevelopment Project and the Downtown Pleasanton <br /> Specific Plan, (hereafter the Redevelopment Project <br /> and the Specific Plan will collectively be referred <br /> to as "the Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to comments on the DEIR, in October, <br /> 1988, a Final Environmental Impact Report (Final <br /> EIR), which incorporated the DEIR, was prepared for <br /> the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 6, 1988 and on January 17, 1989, the <br /> City Council of the City of Pleasanton held a <br /> public hearing on the adequacy of the Final EIR for <br /> the Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after hearing all interested persons, and after <br /> receiving and considering all relevant evidence <br /> presented at the hearing concerning the Final EIR, <br /> the City Council does now find as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Notice of the hearing was given as required by <br /> law and the hearing on the Final EIR was <br /> conducted in accordance with Section 15089 of <br /> the CEQA Guidelines. <br /> <br /> 2. All persons interested in the matter were <br /> allowed to speak. <br /> <br /> 3. The significant environmental impacts <br /> associated with the Specific Plan and the <br /> Project alternatives have been fully and <br /> specifically addressed in the Final EIR. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BASED ON THE ABOVE FINDINGS, THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Final Environmental Impact Report for the <br /> Downtown Pleasanton Specific Plan is adequate in <br /> all respects and it has been completed in <br /> compliance with CEQA. <br /> <br /> <br />
