PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2176 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE RZ-82-9, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone the lots on the east side of Main Street between Abbie Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks from the "O/C-O" (Office-Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-O" (Central Commercial- Civic Overlay) District; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of May 26, 1982 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for case RZ-82-9; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated May 26, 1982 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 26, 1982 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed zoning change; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission .has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines .governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would not be any significant impacts upon the environment by approving the rezoning and recommended adoption of the Negative Declaration prepared for this case. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of the rezoning of the subject property. Section 2. Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for case RZ-82-9, application of the City of Pleasanton as described above.
