PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANT ON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2177 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE <br />RZ-82-9, APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to rezone the lots <br />on the east side of Main Street between Abbie Street <br />and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks from the "O/C-O" <br />(Office-Civic Overlay) District to the "C-C/C-0" <br />(Central Commercial-Civic Overlay) District or to any <br />other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 26, 1982 <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br />Negative Declaration as prepared by the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of May 26, 1982 <br />all public testimony and pertinent documents were considered <br />by the Planning Commission as well as the recommendations <br />of the City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found the "C-C/C-O" District is <br />in accord with the land use element of the General <br />Plan of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends the above described property be rezoned from <br />the "0/C-O" (.Office-Civic Overlay) District to the <br />"C-C/C-O" (Central Commercial-Civic Overlay) District. <br />Section 2.
