PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2182 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING REZONING AS REQUESTED IN <br />CASE RZ-81-17 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone (Annexation <br />No. 91) an approximately 35 acres site located immediately <br />northwest of the intersection of Martin and Mohr Avenues <br />to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Resi- <br />dential District or to any other zoning district consistent <br />with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of November 12, 1981 <br />the Planning Commission recommended approval of case <br />RZ-81-17 recommending the subject property be prezoned <br />to R-1-20,000 District; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council took no action on this prezoning because <br />the Planning Commission initiated a general plan amendment <br />on the eastern half of the Mohr/Martin area to change it <br />from Medium Density Residential to Low Density Residential; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the general plan amendment on <br />May 11, 1982; and <br />WHEREAS, the property owners asked that the rezoning be PUD-Low <br />Density Residential rather than R-1-20,000; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of June 24, 1982 <br />the Planning Commission found that PUD-Low Density <br />Residential is in conformance with the General Plan Land <br />Use designation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony <br />concerning this application and felt that the minimum <br />lot size should be 20,000 sq. ft. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends prezoning of the approximately 35 acres <br />located immediately northwest of the intersection of <br />Martin and Mohr Avenues to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Low Density Residential District but that <br />no lot shall be less than 20,000 sq. ft. in size within <br />this Planned Unit Development. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />/// <br />
