PLANNING COMMISSION _ CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION N0. 2188 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT ON APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR TRACT 4936 AS FILED BY PLEASANTON DEVELOPER GROUP WHEREAS, Pleasanton Developer Group has applied for tentative subdivision approval for 42 lots on approximately 9.8 acres of land at the northwest corner of Valley Avenue and Paseo Santa Cruz; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District; and WHEREAS, at their meeting of June 24, 1982 the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for Tract 4936; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 24, 1981 and received a recommendation of the City staff; and -- WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 24, 1982 and the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed tentative tract; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with. the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there would be significant impacts upon the environment by approving Tract 4936 but that conditions of project approval would reduce the significant effect to insignificant. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there will be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a result of approval of Tract 4936 because conditions of project approval would reduce any potentially significant adverse environmental effects to insignificant.
