PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />"' COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2192 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING <br />A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR TRACT 4901 <br />FILED BY VINTAGE ASSOCIATES <br />WHEREAS, Vintage Associates has applied for the subdivision of <br />approximatey 45 acres into 192 parcels with a minimum <br />parcel size of 6,500 sq. ft. located in the area generally <br />bounded by I-580, the Alameda County Flood Control <br />District (Zone 7) Drainage Channel, West Las Positas Blvd., <br />and the Pleasanton City limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the zoning is R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of June 24, 1982 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />Tract 4901; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 18, 1982 and received a <br />recommendation of the city staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on June 24, 1982 <br />and the public was given the opportunity to comment on <br />the environmental impacts of the proposed tentative tract <br />(4901); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with. the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of negative declarations and <br />environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the environment <br />by approving Tract 4901 but that conditions imposed upon <br />project approval would reduce those potential adverse <br />environmental effects to an insignificant level. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the Initial Study, testimony and documentary <br />evidence presented at the public hearing that there will <br />be no significant adverse impacts on the environment as a <br />result of the approval of Tract 4901. <br />
