" PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF PLEASANTON
COUNTY OF ALAMEDA
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 2196
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A
MODIFICATION TO THE APPROVED PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT OF ROBERT MEYERS AS FILED UNDER
CASE PUD-80-16-1M
WHEREAS, because of their strategic location to a major entrance
to the City, the City Council has required a more rigorous
site and architectural design procedure for the Hacienda
and Reynolds and Brown Business Parks than for smaller
less noticeable development projects within the City; and
WHEREAS, since the proposed Meyer Business Park is also highly
visible and of substantial size, the City Council recently
initiated a modification to the Meyer Planned Unit Devel-
opment to require that project to follow the same design
procedure as Hacienda and Reynolds and Brown; and'
_ WHEREAS, this is considered a major modification to the Meyer PUD,
and therefore, was submitted to the Planning Commission
for review and recommendation to the City Council at
their duly noticed public hearing of July 28, 1982.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING:
Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton concurs
with the City Council and recommends that case PUD-BO-16 be
amended by deleting condition number 2 of Ordinance No. 973
and substituting the following condition for it:
2. That since the development plan does not show the
specific architecture of buildings or specific site
design, development of individual sites on the entire
approximately 82 acre property shall require review
by the Planning Commission and City Council prior
to issuance of building permit.
Section 2. This resolution shall be adopted immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
///
