PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION MAKING A <br />RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL WITH REGARD TO <br />ALIGNMENT AND STATION LOCATION OF BART <br />WHEREAS, on May 14, 1981, Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) <br />wrote a letter to the Planning Commission asking for <br />input concerning location of BART within the City of <br />Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, on May 27, 1981, this letter was discussed amongst the <br />Planning Commissioners of the City of Pleasanton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends the following to the <br />Pleasanton City Council: <br />That routing of BART through the community <br />_ should be along the north side of the City in <br />or near the I-580 corridor and requests two <br />stations for the City with the first being at <br />or near the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center <br />and the second being near Santa Rita Road and <br />I-580. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 27th day of May 1981 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None ,' <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: May 27, 1981 <br />ATTEST• <br />~~ ~~ <br />Robert J.
