PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON - COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2011 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AP'IENDMENT AS FILED UNDE?? CASE GP-81-3 BY SIDNEY CORRIE, JR. WHEREAS, Sidney Corrie, Jr. has applied for a General Plan amendment to change the land use designation of a 29+ acre site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by Trenery Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east and the Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north from Medium Density Residential" to "High Density Residential;" and WHEREAS, the property is zoned "A" (Agricultural) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 10, 1981 at which time all public testimony and documents were considered. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES "'HE FOLLOWING: Section 1.The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton recommends approval of case GP-81-3 subject to the following conditions: 1. That this general plan amendment is only for the approximately 27 acre parcel located immediately southeast of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and the Arroyo Mocho. 2. That because the majority of this property is subject to shallow flooding during certain intense storms, corrective measures in compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program shall be undertaken prior to any development of the subject site. 3. That because vehicular access to the subject site from Santa Rita Road is limited, access via the westerly extension of Trenery Drive will be required in conjunction with the development of the property. Section 2.This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton on the 10th day of June 1981 by the following vote: AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty NOES: Commissioner Jamieson ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None
