PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />- COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2011 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A GENERAL PLAN AP'IENDMENT AS FILED UNDE?? <br />CASE GP-81-3 BY SIDNEY CORRIE, JR. <br />WHEREAS, Sidney Corrie, Jr. has applied for a General Plan <br />amendment to change the land use designation of a 29+ acre <br />site located on Santa Rita Road and bounded by Trenery <br />Drive on the south, Oakland Avenue on the east and the <br />Arroyo Mocho Canal on the north from Medium Density <br />Residential" to "High Density Residential;" and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned "A" (Agricultural) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 10, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and documents were considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES "'HE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1.The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />recommends approval of case GP-81-3 subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. That this general plan amendment is only for the <br />approximately 27 acre parcel located immediately <br />southeast of the intersection of Santa Rita Road <br />and the Arroyo Mocho. <br />2. That because the majority of this property is subject <br />to shallow flooding during certain intense storms, <br />corrective measures in compliance with the National <br />Flood Insurance Program shall be undertaken prior <br />to any development of the subject site. <br />3. That because vehicular access to the subject site from <br />Santa Rita Road is limited, access via the westerly <br />extension of Trenery Drive will be required in <br />conjunction with the development of the property. <br />Section 2.This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 10th day of June 1981 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: Commissioner Jamieson <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
