ATTACHMENT 1. <br /> City of Pleasanton Department of Parks and Community Services <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton <br /> 484-8160 <br /> AMADORTHEATER INFORMATION ANDREGULATIONS <br /> <br />The permittee must read the Rules and Regulations prior to making application <br />for use of the Amador Theater. The permittee must also be responsible for <br />informing their group of the Rules and Regulations. <br /> <br /> FACILITY DESCR/PTION <br /> <br />The Amador Community Theater is located at 1155 Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton, <br />California. It is a City owned and operated theater located on the grounds <br />of Amador Valley High School. Maximum seating capacity 631; 407 on the main <br />floor, 224 in the balcony. The stage area is approximately 1056 square feet; <br />32 feet deep by 33 feet wide. Dressing rooms with rest room facilities are <br />downstairs from the stage. Lessee must be sensitive to any impact the <br />facility use may have on Amador High School activities and how school <br />activities may impact lessee. Additional parking is available at Amador <br />Community Park and Alisal School. <br /> <br /> RENTAL FEES AND PRIORITY CLASSIFICATION <br /> <br />Basic rental fee is for the use and hours specified in your contract; set-up, <br />performance, and clean-up are inclusive. Use may be extended by paying an <br />additional fee, if the facility is available. See Fee Schedule for rates. <br /> <br /> PRIORITY CLASSIFICATION OF GROUPS <br /> <br />Priority A: Sponsored Groups <br /> <br />Sponsored groups are designated by meeting the requirements indicated below <br />in the Policy for a Recreation Group Sponsorship Classification. <br /> <br /> 1. Co-sponsored - Reserved for community groups whose program serves a <br /> significant number of people, providing a wholesome and desirable <br /> recreational activity and is considered of service to the <br /> community. <br /> <br /> 2. Sanctioned Programs - Meets all above requirements but is limited in <br /> degree in terms of numbers served. <br /> <br /> 3. Approved - Worthwhile community activities or projects which are <br /> beneficial to the community but have main values other than <br /> recreation or is of a limited recreation value. <br /> <br />Priority B: Classified Groups <br /> <br /> 1. Permitted - Local organizations using facilities for their own <br /> members. Examples of these types of groups wouldbe service clubs, <br /> homeowner organizations, educational or non-profit social service <br /> groups. <br /> <br /> 2. Private and Commercial Use - Required to pay current fee and rental <br /> charges as established by the Park and Recreation Commission and <br /> City Council on a periodic basis. Resident applications to be given <br /> priority over non-residents' applications. <br /> <br />Priority C: Non-Residents <br /> <br /> Applicants residing outside city limits of Pleasanton. Organizations <br /> whose membership is less than 75% Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br /> <br />
