PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A <br />NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-81-6, <br />VINTAGE ASSOCIATES, LTD. <br />WHEREAS, Vintage Associates, Ltd. have applied for Planned Unit <br />Development zoning and development plan approval for a <br />108 unit townhouse project located on a 7.19 acre site <br />immediately behind the shopping center on Pico Avenue <br />between Tawny and Palomino Drives; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development- <br />High Density Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and documents were considered; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />_ to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of July 15, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated July 15, 1981 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission--had 'before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Valley Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />Planning Commission reviewed the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />
