Attachment C. <br /> <br /> City of Pleasanton <br /> Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br /> Resolution 89-1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE <br />FOR REECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS: all fees and charges established by the Department of Parks <br /> and Community Services are to be approved by the City <br /> Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: fee adjustments are required to compensate for inflation, <br /> salary or contractual payment increase, and other direct <br /> program expenses; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: it is the department policy that new <br /> classes/programs/services are added or deleted in response <br /> to public demand or lack of demand; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: services/programs/classes can often best be provided by <br /> contractual arrangement between the City and the service <br /> provider; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1: Recommends approval of the proposed fees and charges <br /> as submitted in Park and Recreation Commission Staff <br /> Report 7C, January 12, 1989, Attachment A and B. <br /> <br />SECTION 2: Recommends staff be authorized to adjust fees and <br /> charges for service and facilities up to 20% of the <br /> approved fees and charges without resubmitting the <br /> change to City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 3: Recommends authorization be given to provide new <br /> programs and classes at a fee based on the cost of <br /> service or established guidelines; fees for such new <br /> programs or classes to be submitted to the City <br /> Council for approval within one year period from <br /> initiation of the class or program. <br /> <br />SECTION 4: Recommends the Recreation Supervisors and/or the <br /> Director of the Department continue to be authorized <br /> to enter into contractual agreement for program <br /> services. <br /> <br /> <br />
