PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE <br />PUD-81-4 AS FILED BY THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANS- <br />PORTATION COMPANY. <br />WHEREAS, Southern Pacific Transportation Company has applied for <br />development plan approval of an approximately 80,000 sq. <br />ft. commercial/office development to be located between <br />First Street and the SPRR right-of-way from Angela Street <br />to the extension of Bernal Avenue and between Neal Street, <br />Angela Street and the SPRR right-of-way and a line <br />approximately 250 ft. east of Main Street and rezoning <br />of the site to PUD-Commercial/Offices; also to rezone <br />the DeLucchi and Wayside Parks located on the west side <br />of First Street between Angela Street and a point <br />approximately 350 ft. north of Neal Street from the <br />C-C (Central Commercial) to PUD (Planned Unit Development- <br />Park) District; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) and O <br />(Office) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a mitigated negative declaration was recommended for <br />approval on July 15, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and pertinent documents were con- <br />sidered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of case <br />PUD-81-4 as filed by the Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />development plan, Exhibit A, on file with the Planning <br />Division except that building number 1 shall not <br />be built until Phase II of the development takes <br />place and the SPRR tracks have been removed. In <br />the interim, the building number 1 site is to be <br />used for parking. <br />2. That prior to issuance of any permits for construction, <br />demolition or rehabilitation on the subject property, <br />the property owner shall enter into a lease with the <br />
