PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2026 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR A USE PERMIT FOR D.B.I. ENERGY <br />AND PLEASANTON GARBAGE SERVICE, INC. AS FILED <br />UNDER CASE UP-81-12 <br />WHEREAS, D.B.I. Energy and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc, has <br />applied for a conditional use permit to allow the <br />construction of a solid waste fired incinerator for <br />energy cogeneration within a 2880 sq. ft. structure <br />at the Pleasanton Garbage Service transfer station at <br />3110 Busch Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time <br />all public testimony and documents were considered; and <br />WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures <br />adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton <br />by Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of July 15, 1981 <br />received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration <br />in a report from the Director of Planning and Community <br />Development dated July 1, 1981 regarding the afore- <br />mentioned project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney <br />of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and the determinations required. by Section 5.4 (e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br />WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her <br />copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering <br />the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br />WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had previously <br />been published in the Valley Times, at the time of the <br />public hearing on the aforementioned project; and <br />
