PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2026 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A USE PERMIT FOR D.B.I. ENERGY AND PLEASANTON GARBAGE SERVICE, INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-81-12 WHEREAS, D.B.I. Energy and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc, has applied for a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a solid waste fired incinerator for energy cogeneration within a 2880 sq. ft. structure at the Pleasanton Garbage Service transfer station at 3110 Busch Road; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time all public testimony and documents were considered; and WHEREAS, said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of July 15, 1981 received the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a report from the Director of Planning and Community Development dated July 1, 1981 regarding the afore- mentioned project; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission was advised by the City Attorney of its responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Declaration and the determinations required. by Section 5.4 (e) of Resolution No. 77-66; and WHEREAS, each member of the Planning Commission had before him/her copies of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had previously been published in the Valley Times, at the time of the public hearing on the aforementioned project; and
