PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2027 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR <br />D.B.I. ENERGY AND PLEASANTON GARBAGE SERVICE, <br />INC. AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-81-12 <br />WHEREAS, D.B.I. Energy and Pleasanton Garbage Service, Inc. have <br />applied for a conditional use permit to allow the con- <br />struction of a solid waste fired incinerator for energy <br />cogeneration within a 2880 sq. ft. structure at the <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service transfer station at 3110 Busch <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is I-G (General Industrial) <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, a negative declaration of environmental impacts was reviewed <br />and approved; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time <br />all pertinent documents and public testimony were considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is in <br />accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public health, <br />safety or welfare or be materially injurious to pro- <br />perties or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton approves <br />case UP-81-12 the application of D.B.I. Energy and Pleasanton <br />Garbage Service, Inc. subject to all of the conditions of <br />the staff report to the Planning Commission dated July 15, <br />1981. <br />
