PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2028 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON DENYING THE APPLICATION OF <br />WAYNE BRIGGSON AND P & M DEVELOPMENT COMPANY FOR <br />PLANNED UNIT APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-12 <br />WHEREAS, Wayne Briggson and P & M Development Company have applied <br />for Planned Unit Development approval for an 8 acre site <br />located on the east side of Santa Rita Road approximately <br />250 ft, north of Mohr Avenue and for development plan <br />approval for an approximately 63,000 sq. ft. combination <br />office building and carpenters' training center; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development <br />(Commercial and Offices) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which time <br />all pertinent documents and testimony were considered; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission expressed concern regarding parking <br />and traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also is of the opinion that this <br />use is appropriate for Pleasanton but not at its suggested <br />location and recommended they look in industrial areas <br />l-- as opposed to an area surrounded by residential development. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission denies case PUD-81-12. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />on the 15th day of July 1981 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Getty <br />NOES: Commissioner Lindsey <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATES: July 15, 1981 <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert J.
