PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2032 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMPIENDING <br />APPROVAL OF A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT FOR M.A.I. <br />INDUSTRIES, INC. FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-15 <br />WHEREAS, M.A.I. Industries, Inc. has applied £or development <br />plan approval which would allow the construction of <br />a 48,000 sq. ft., two-story office building to be <br />located at the southeast corner of Stoneridge Drive <br />and Foothill Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned "PUD-Commercial/Offices;" and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 15, 1981 at which <br />time all pertinent documents and testimony were <br />considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of case <br />PUD-81-15 subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown <br />on the development plan, Exhibit A, on file with <br />the Planning Division. <br />2. That the applicant be aware that this project will <br />be subject to further requirements under the Fire <br />Code including provision of a full sprinkler <br />system for the structure. The developer is requested <br />to contact the Fire Marshal for further information. <br />3. That the street number of the building be posted so <br />as to be easily seen from the street at all times, <br />day and night. <br />4. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment, <br />and any other mechanical equipment, whether on <br />the structure, on the ground, or elsewhere, be <br />effectively screened from view with materials <br />architecturally compatible with the main structure. <br />5. That all mechanical equipment be constructed in such <br />a manner that noise emanating from it will not be <br />perceptible at or beyond the property plane of the <br />subject property in a normal environment for that <br />zoning district. <br />6. That all lighting be constructed in such a manner that <br />glare is directed away from surrounding properties <br />and rights-of-way. <br />
