PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2036 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION PREPARED FOR KAISER SAND AND GRAVEL <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-81-10 <br />WHEREAS, Kaiser Sand and Gravel has applied for a conditional <br />use permit which would allow the installation and <br />operation of an asphaltic batch plant on their premises <br />located at 3311 Stanley Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned I-G (General Industrial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting of August 12, 1981, the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed negative declaration for case UP-81-10; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated June 10, 1981, and received the <br />"- recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposed use; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br />negative declarations and environmental impact reports; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed use <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves the negative declaration prepared for case <br />UP-81-10, application of Kaiser Sand and Gravel. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its <br />passage and adoption. <br />/// <br />
