Item 6a <br />Staff Report <br />DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br />August 13, 1381 <br />SUBJECT: Z-81-76 <br />APPLICANT: Roy Gibson <br />pURppgg; Application for design approval for an <br />11,200 sq. ft. combination office/warehouse/ <br />storage building proposed to be constructed <br />on the 0.60 acre site located on the east <br />side o£ Wyoming Street approximately 200 ft. <br />north of the Del Valle Parkway. The pro- <br />perty is zoned C-S (Commercial Service) <br />District. <br />ATTACHMENT: Exhibit A, Site Plan Elevations and <br />Landscape Plan <br />Roy Gibson, owner of Central Petroleum Maintenance Company <br />now located on the Deetz property on St. John Street, wishes <br />to move his building to an 0.60 acre site which he has purchased <br />on the east side of Wyoming Street approximately 200 ft. north <br />of the Del Valle Parkway. To accommodate the business he wishes <br />to construct an 11,200 sq. ft. combination office/warehouse/ <br />storage building on the site. <br />The building would be of metal construction. The office portion <br />at the front would be embellished with a concrete shake roofed <br />canopy. There would be numerous windows in this area. The <br />remainder of the building would be metal wall with 12 ft. x 14 ft. <br />roll up overhead doors. Colors would be antique gold for the <br />metal portion with harmonizing stucco and concrete shake colors. <br />The building would be set back 30 ft. from the street. Landscaped <br />areas and four parking spaces would be located in this setback. <br />The structure would be located immediately adjacent to the southern <br />property line of the site with a 40 ft. setback t~pheslandhwithn <br />this northern area there would be a driveway, a P <br />two gasoline pumps and two 10,000 gallon acesrareushownslocated <br />storage tanks. Two additional parking sp <br />in this northern setback area. The entire site would be fenced <br />with a 6 ft. high chain link fence. <br />Mr. Gibson has eleven employees, including himself in the business. <br />Additional parking spaces are going to be needed for these employees' <br />cars.
