CENT F.R' s propos^1. is to <br />operate a connnunity alcohol center at 228 5},rin;; Su~c:cc • <br />The activities fora corununity alcohol. center would include residential services <br />to six. persons, information and education about alcohol and its eCfecCS on <br />families and the larger community, and a facility where anyone could "drop-in" <br />to chat, ask questions or address problems they may have, "Drop-in" means <br />the facility would be open and staffed 24 bolo-s a day to deliver services. <br />P.esidential- Service: iJould be on a first i~omu ba::i:; rttehcr than by appointment <br />for six persons, A trained alcohol specialist and trained community volunteer. <br />would receive clients referred by themselves, families and other community <br />agencies. Length of stay would average five days, however three of the resident <br />beds may be for longer care. <br />A warm and supportive residential atmosphere is essential Co the successful <br />operation of a community alcohol. center.
