PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2046 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON APPROVING A USE PERMIT FOR THE CENTER <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE UP-81-20 <br />WHEREAS, The Center has applied for a conditional use permit to allow <br />for the establishment of a rehabilitation center for alco- <br />holics, including informational, educational, residential, <br />and counseling services to be located at 228 Spring Street; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned C-C (Central Commercial) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 12, 1981 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment <br />on the proposed use permit for The Center. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission makes the following findings: <br />A. That the proposed location of the conditional use is <br />in accord with the objectives of this chapter and the <br />purposes of the district in which the site is located. <br />B. That the proposed location of the conditional use and <br />the conditions under which it would be operated or <br />maintained will not be detrimental to the public <br />health, safety or welfare or be materially injurious <br />to property or improvements in the vicinity. <br />C. That the proposed conditional use will comply with <br />each of the applicable provisions of this chapter. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission approves case UP-81-20 subject to <br />the conditions shown in the staff report to the Planning <br />Commission dated August 12, 1981, attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective 15 days from its <br />passage and adoption. <br />/~~ <br />
