PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2048 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PELASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE PUD-81-16, FILED BY MORRISON HOMES. WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 12, 1981 the Planning Commission received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for development plan approval for a 75 lot single-family residential planned unit development to be located on the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 12, 1981 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the _ environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declara- tions and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves a mitigated negative declaration for the development plan approval for a 75 lot single-family residential planned unit development to be located on the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks subject to mitigating condition number 2 of Resolution No. 2049 dated 8/12/81. Section 2. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the review of the initial study, and the testimony and documentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment but that conditions listed in Section 1 as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant.
