PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2048 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PELASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE <br />MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION PREPARED FOR CASE <br />PUD-81-16, FILED BY MORRISON HOMES. <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 12, 1981 the Planning Commission <br />received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for <br />development plan approval for a 75 lot single-family <br />residential planned unit development to be located on <br />the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street <br />and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 12, 1981 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time <br />the public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />_ environmental impacts of the proposed development plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines <br />governing the preparation of mitigated negative declara- <br />tions and environmental impact reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated <br />that there may be significant impacts upon the environment <br />but that conditions of approval would render these potential <br />impacts insignificant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves a mitigated negative declaration for the <br />development plan approval for a 75 lot single-family <br />residential planned unit development to be located on <br />the north side of Valley Avenue, between Kolln Street and <br />the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks subject to mitigating <br />condition number 2 of Resolution No. 2049 dated 8/12/81. <br />Section 2. The Planning Commission finds that based upon the <br />review of the initial study, and the testimony and <br />documentary evidence presented at the public hearing <br />that there may be significant impacts on the environment <br />but that conditions listed in Section 1 as mitigations <br />render these potential impacts insignificant. <br />
