PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2063 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING PREZONING AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE RZ-81-13 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to prezone (Annexation <br />No. 88) an approximately 20 acre site located on the <br />north side of Vineyard Avenue immediately east of the <br />City limit line to PUD-Medium Density Residential (Planned <br />Unit Development) District or to any other zoning district <br />consistent with the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 16, 1981 at which <br />time all pertinent documents and testimony were considered; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in July 1981 the City Council indicated they wished to <br />annex to the City of Pleasanton the 20 acre parcel located <br />on the north side of Vineyard Avenue, immediately east of <br />the City limit line; and <br />_ WHEREAS, this property had already been prezoned to PUD-Medium <br />Density Residential District in May 1981 in conjunction <br />with the prezoning of the 4.7 acre parcel immediately east <br />of the Hacienda Mobile Home Park; and <br />WHEREAS, the prezoning was conditioned upon the property being <br />exclusively used as a mobile home park site; and <br />WHEREAS, in July 1981 when annexation of the 20 acre parcel :was <br />requested by its owner, T. A. Bates, he asked that the <br />restriction be removed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, therefore, initiated another prezoning <br />of the property in order to remove the restriction; and <br />WHEREAS, this second prezoning is now being considered by the <br />Planning Commission for their recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />recommends that the 20 acre site located on the north <br />side of Vineyard Avenue immediately east of the City <br />limit line be prezoned to PUD-Medium Density Residential <br />^ (Planned Unit Development) District subject to the <br />
