<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2070 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF CASE Z-81-78, DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL FOR <br />THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CITY POLICE FACILITY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval <br />to allow for the development of the City Police Facility <br />to be located on the civic center site south of city hall; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned P/C-O (Public and Institutional/Civic <br />Overlay) District; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 16, 1981 at which <br />time all public testimony and exhibits were considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. The Planning Commission recommends approval of case <br />Z-81-78 subject to the following conditions: <br />1. That the development be substantially as shown on the <br />site plan, elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A, <br />on file with the Planning Division. <br />2. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment and <br />any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure <br />on the ground or elsewhere, shall be effectively screened <br />with materials architecturally compatible with the main <br />structure. <br />3. That all mechanical equipment shall be constructed <br />in such a manner that noise emanating from it will <br />not be perceptible at or beyond the property plane <br />of the subject site in a normal environment for that <br />zoning district. <br />4. That all lighting shall be constructed in such a <br />manner that glare is directed away from surrounding <br />properties and rights-of-way. <br />5. All trash and refuse be contained completely within <br />enclosures architecturally compatible with the main <br />structure. <br />6. That if signing for the development is desired, a <br />comprehensive signing program shall be submitted <br />for consideration under separate application. <br />
